Alcatel Test Pattern
2008 Alcatel develops system side application. The Alcatel test takes the following pattern
in 2008.
The written round consists of two parts. Each part takes up 1:30 hrs time. So a total of 3 hours. The first part of the test has 60 technical questions and 60 aptitude questions. So a total of 120 questions in 90 minutes. The second part of the test has a total of 90 questions in 90 minutes. This part is equally divided among C, C++ and Java each of which takes up 30 questions. Technical questions in the first round are mainly from Microprocessors, Communication Networks and Unix. R. S. Aggarwal will be really handy for the aptitude questions. Yeshwant Kanithkar's books seems good for C and C++ questions. Java can be well handled if you have a look at Java Complete Reference. This will be followed by two rounds of interview - a technical interview and an HR interview. The tech interview mainly has simple questions. The HR will discuss about the bond and such details. |
