Indian Space Research Organisation carries out space programs through its centers located at different places in India. They develop satellites, their launch vehicles, ground systems that control them etc.

The INSAT series if satellites launched by them form the back bone of tele-communication, television broadcasting, meteorology and disaster warning systems in India.

ISRO's cooperate operations span many countries and they also have facilities to train personnel from  abroad. In short ISRO is an organization of high repute and keeps working continuously in developing India's own technology in the field of Space research.
